6190 Field: Serica goes to the next level

Serica is back in the news with the unveiling of its latest addition: the 6190 Field a worthy heir to the W.W.W and the 4512, released in 2019 and 2020 respectively. At the time, the W.W.W was the French brand’s first mechanical watch, based on the historic designs of the military watches. But make no mistake, everything about this watch has been improved!

This new watch is refined with a case of 10.4mm height for a width of 37.7mmthe ideal size to make it particularly elegant. However, it remains water-resistant to 200MThis is a rare feature for a watch of its kind, and will enable you to wear it in all circumstances. Serica still offers you a choice of orientation for the oversized crown at 3 or 9 o’clockan option that will warm the hearts of left-handers. The double-dome sapphire crystal is anti-reflective, offering sturdiness, style and perfect legibility.

Movement-wise, this Serica 6190 is equipped with a calibre SOPROD M100a swiss automatic movementCOSC-certified, the company’s new standard. The heart of the work beats at a frequency of 28,800 vph, while offering a 42-hour power reserve. The bracelet remains unchanged, still inspired by early twentieth-century vintage and named ” Bonklip “. It’s very easy to use, as all you have to do is hook the buckle directly onto a link to lock it in place. The clasp features a superb Serica logo, which makes all the difference. As Serica always thinks ahead, you can choose between two bracelet sizes: a standard suitable for cuffs from 16 to 20cm and a extra-long fits wrists from 19 to 24cm.

It refers to the mountain also known as McKinley in Alaska, climbed by Colombian mountaineers on June 3, 2022 in just 8 days. Nicolàs Diaz and Gabriel Morant.
