The news of the day is big! Bell & Ross renews its partnership with the Patrouille de France and reveals a BR 03 Type A limited edition to only 100 copies. Focus on this piece that will delight aviation fans.
Bell & Ross and the Patrouille de France
After the formalization of their partnership last year, through a first edition which met with great success, Bell & Ross and the Patrouille de France are doing it again. This new edition makes echo of the very first collaboration between the soon to be 30-year-old brand and theAir Forcedating from 2008 and also based on the BR 03 Type A, then intended to equip fighter pilots.
A BR 03 with dual display
There BR 03 is a must-have piece from the Bell & Ross catalog in which we find the square-round design, a true signature of the brand. Its case of 42mm in diameter displays, by its shape, a remarkable presence on the wrist and a precious 10ATM resistance. For this special edition, we find the colorful logo of the Patrouille de Francepainted at 9 o’clock on a plain blue dial. Everything is topped with a sapphire crystal anti-reflective treated flat and a bezel engraved with a timer.
A watch adapted to the needs of pilots
When you pilot a flying machine at a speed between 300 and 800 km/h, your watch becomes an essential instrument. There readability and accuracy were therefore the key words guiding this collaboration. Bell & Ross has therefore chosen a quartz movement and more precisely the caliber BR-Cal.103. In addition to the low drift offered by a battery-powered movement, the latter offers numerous functions adapted to the needs of pilots : chronograph with intermediate and additional time, countdown, alarm, date and second time zone. Count 4200€, but be quick, the only 100 copies produced should soon find takers.
