A New Titanium Monster: The Sinn T50

Sinn is a German luxury watch brand that was founded in Frankfurt in 1961 by Helmut Sinn. The company initially focused on producing navigation cockpit clocks and pilot chronographs for professional pilots and military personnel, but later expanded its product line to include diving watches, sport watches, and dress watches. Sinn watches are known for their high quality, durability, and technical innovation, and many of them feature advanced functions such as chronographs, GMT, and flyback mechanisms. The brand is particularly popular among aviation and diving enthusiasts, as its watches are designed to withstand extreme conditions and provide accurate timekeeping in demanding environments. When it comes to watchmaking, Sinn is definitely one of the brands that have made a name for themselves, especially with the 556 A, one of the first watches ever tested by the watchmakers. Now, a few weeks away from Watches & Wonders, they have just unveiled a new line: the Sinn T50, a titanium plunger declined in a very attractive triptych. Let’s take a closer look at this new watch.

SINN T50

Features of the Sinn T50

The T50 is the most classic of the three models, with an entirely high-strength titanium case with a bead-blasted finish. It is also equipped with sword needles, a more widely marked bezel, and an offset crown. The T50 GBDR is a two-tone version with a bezel made of Goldbronze 125, an alloy composed of 87.5% bronze and 12.5% gold. It is also less allergenic and will retain its patina more slowly than a classic bronze. Finally, the T50 GoldBronze is a limited edition of 300 copies, fully made of Goldbronze 125 and equipped with a decorated dial. All three watches have a level of technicality that Sinn is renowned for, such as a 50 bar sealing, a captive diving bezel with protection against accidental manipulation, and a Ar dehumidification technique.
