Akrone is one of those young French brands that have succeeded brilliantly in carving out a singular place in the watchmaking landscape. We were lucky enough to meet one of its founders, Erwan Kerneur, just a year ago. Today, one of the company’s flagship collections, the C-03. Zoom in on the models Heritage and Worldtimer, a quartet limited to just 100 pieces per model!
On the menu two Worldtimer models and two Heritage models models. All share the same titaniumwaterproof 10 ATM and measuring 41mm diameter, 13.15mm thick. Well-balanced proportions combined with a high level of finishing, for a beautiful presence on the wrist. Here, Akrone has chosen to fit the robust and durable caliber NH35a self-winding movement produced by Seiko.
The Worltimer series is characterized by its bi-directional bezel allowing time reading in 24 cities worldwide. A fine evolution of the C-03 that will delight the most globetrotting of you. The Furtive is discreetly and effectively color-coded in black and gray, while the Yoshi with a hint of mint green for a more explosive result.
The Heritage duo is simpler in design, but just as effective. This is a sports watch with steel bezel graduated over 12 hoursallowing temporary reading of a second time zone by rotating the bezel. The model Dune lives up to its name with a warm brown and beige color scheme, while the Canopée is adorned with a more modern, sumptuous smoked green dial. Don’t delay, because, as explained above, each model in this quartet will be produced at only 100 units and posted at 549€.
