After TAG Heuer, we move on to the news revealed by Zenith during the LVMH Watch Week in Singapore. The Le Locle manufacture, famous for its El Primero movement, is emphasizing its Defy collection and in particular the Skyline range, which is enjoying well-deserved success.
Zenith Defy Skyline Skeleton
It’s the flagship model presented by Zenith this week. Still equipped with the 41mm hexagonal case surmounted by a dodecagonal bezel, the Defy Skyline Skeleton features a skeletonized dial and movement. It is still a three-hand El Primero clocked at 36,000 vph with a 60-hour power reserve. We find the same sub-counter as for the first Skyline, performing a tfull hour in 10 seconds, but this time positioned at 6 o’clock. Two models are offered with a black or blue dial/movement combo, then delivered with a second rubber strap consistent with the main color. Their price: 11,800€
Zenith Defy Skyline Boutique Edition
Uniquely available in partner storesthis version more glamorous of the Defy Skyline displays rosy golden touches on a sunny gray background, still decorated with star motifs echoing the brand’s emblem. Her 41mm case remains in stainless steel, waterproof to 100 meters, with the polished chamfers that have forged the dazzling character of the Skyline range. Of course, there is the famous unique Zenith sub-counter which perpetually animates its dial. Its price: 9,400€
Zenith Defy Skyline 36mm
The Swiss manufacture does not forget the female population, logical given the ambitions of the Skyline collection within the Zenith catalogue. reduced to one 36mm diameter and devoid of the famous sub-dial, this Defy Skyline is available in 3 dials: blue, pastel green and pastel pink. On the other hand the movement changes for a caliber Elite 670 with a more traditional frequency of 28,800 vph offering 50 hours of power reserve. This one is still superb, something that you will be able to see for yourself from the transparent background. All that’s missing is an intermediate size to satisfy everyone! Their price: 9,100€ or 12,900€ (for the versions set with diamonds)
Zenith Defy Extreme Glacier
Let’s finish with the most daring model presented by Zenith. With its airs of Royal Oak Offshore, this Defy Extreme Glacier draws its inspiration, as its name suggests, from wild beauty of glaciers. How ? On the one hand with its white tones, frosted sapphire crystal sub-dials, but above all thanks to the use of blue chalcedony, a semi-precious stone from the quartz family, surrounding its bezel and push-buttons. Thus, each model has a unique variation. This 50-piece limited edition is presented in an imposing 45mm titanium case, fitted with a chronograph displaying 1/100th of a second. Its price: 28,000€
