SpaceX’s Starlink service has been rebranded as Starlink Roam and allows customers to take their terminals with them to locations where connectivity has been unreliable or unavailable.
The global roaming option is available with the $599 portable hardware and comes with a $200 a month subscription fee.
Global Roaming Availability
Starlink’s global roaming option is contingent on regulatory approvals, as the service does not yet have the authority to offer internet connectivity in some country.
Those who choose to use Starlink while abroad may experience periods of poor or no connectivity as the company continues to expand its satellite network.
Customers who use the service abroad for more than two months may be required to change their registered address.
